Yes, you do!

Anytime is great time to refresh your home. We all have rooms in our house we wished were more organized, but it's very daunting to do this on your own. Purging, organizing and refreshing a room takes a lot of time and energy, which is why it gets pushed to the bottom of the to-do list. This is where you call a professional to come and help you, and that professional is me. I truly love helping people find happiness in their surroundings.

Do you have dreams of an organized garage with labeled bins? What about opening your Tupperware drawer and being at peace instead of feeling dread and frustration? A closet that you can barely open because there's just too much stuff to find anything? Do you go to the store and buy more of something you already have because it's easier than trying to find it in the mess? Are you holding onto clothes that you haven't worn in ages and ages? I can help you with all of this! Do not feel bad that you need help. You need help because this is hard.

Maybe I've already been to your house, and you need me to come over again because it's gotten a little out of hand. That's ok. Organization takes constant effort, and we all need a refresh once in a while.

What do you think happens at my house? Well, I will tell you. It's a constant struggle to keep it tight and right. We are two adults, 1 teenager and 1 dog in 750 square feet. We do have about 1,000 total which includes our downstairs office / den and garage, but we have to walk outside to get there. This means I am constantly working on keeping it clean, and I am constantly purging. Oh, and get this - we only have two closets. That's right, only two closets. My home is not perfect by any means. I don't have everything folded perfectly like you see on Instagram or like Marie Kondo, but it's all neat and tidy and put away and cleans up quickly. I have had to make the conscious effort not to buy too many things, and I love to shop. We also keep a lot of stuff in the garage. Things that I used to keep in the kitchen are now stored in the garage, which means that my cabinets are not stuffed to the gills with things I don't use all the time. Since storing these supplies elsewhere and adorning my top shelves with plants, I am so much happier. It fills me with delight to look at my shelves now!

Your home does not have to be perfect, but it should make you feel good and not bad. It should be easy to find things. It should not be filled with things you no longer need taking up precious physical and psychic space. Living in San Francisco means we all have less space just for the convenience of living here. Less space means it's very hard to keep your home tidy and organized. It's time to make some positive changes.

As William Morris so wisely said: Have nothing in your houses you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

My rates are affordable, and it doesn't cost a thing to have me come over and take a look at your space.

Let me help you transform your home!
