It's been another crazy busy week with lots of work, a performance, a team banquet, some school fundraising and trying to get ready for the holidays - 'tis the season, y'all! I'm coming to terms with the fact that my daughter's bat mitzvah is just a few months away. I'm kind of freaking out about it, and I just need to hunker down and start crossing things off my to do list so I feel better. It seems like everything is happening all at once. Thankfully, I'm done with catering for the weekend so I can kinda sorta relax today. My daughter needs to be driven all over SF for various activities so I'm going to try and make the most of it by getting stuff done in the various neighborhoods where I have to wait around. I'm going to get a little holiday shopping done during the first activity, but I'm also going to take a long walk so I'll be exercising and shopping - such a great combo. Then in the next neighborhood I'll take it easy and get a pedicure. I already made an appointment - it's a place I've never been before and it looks great. That's going to feel so good - my feet need some serious pampering. It depresses me when my toes aren't looking pretty during yoga. I need something nice to look at it while I struggle through the poses. Then when we are driving back to Bernal in the late afternoon, I can swing by my client's house and pick up the platters from yesterday's catering event. And I'm not cooking dinner tonight - no way am I turning on the stove. I need to be fresh for a delicious week of QDTG!
