Oh man, this week's email is just not that fun to write, y'all. Writing last Sunday's was a blast - I felt so positive and hopeful and creative. What can I say that hasn't already been said? The truth is, not much...
But life goes on, and we must keep on doing our thing. Maybe we will do that thing with more intention. Maybe we will donate to the causes that our near & dear to our hearts to let them know how important they are to us. Maybe we will reach out to friends, colleagues, neighbors, etc. who we know might be feeling really scared and freaked out and let them know that we are there for them.
Because this is a difficult time, I'm making comfort food this week because food can be really healing. It can make you feel loved and taken care of and kind of nostalgic. I've always been into comfort food - even as a kid. There's nothing like sitting down to dinner after a long day and tucking into a nice meal with your loved ones.
This is something I saw on Instagram yesterday, and I'm going to do it. You can make a donation to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence's name, and he'll receive the certificate of the donation. Office of Governor Mike Pence State House Room 206 Indianapolis, IN 46204-2797
It's the little things that can make a big difference. Take care of yourselves this week.
